What You'll Need:

• One or 1 pc. of Smudge Bundle
• A fireproof container (e.g. a smudging bundle Holder, a clay bowl, or ceramic dish)
• A lighter or match
• Optional: Feather or hand to fan the smoke

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Set an Intention:

Before igniting the smudge bundle, take a moment to set a positive intention. For example: "I cleanse this space of negativity and invite peace and positivity."

Lighting the bundle:

Hold one end of the bundle at an angle, say 45 degrees. Use a match or lighter to ignite the other end. Allow it to burn for about 20-30 seconds before gently blowing out the flame. The bundle should produce a smoke.

Cleansing and Purification:

• For purifying a given Space: Walk around the room in a clockwise direction, letting the smoke drift into corners, doorways, and windows.
• For Personal Cleansing: Waft the smoke around your body, starting from your head and moving downward, while focusing on releasing negativity.
• For purifying Objects: Pass the object through the smoke to cleanse its energy (e.g., crystals, jewelry, or sacred tools).

Extinguish Safely:

Place the smoldering stick in a fireproof bowl, sand, or ashtray and let it self-extinguish. Alternatively, gently press the burning tip into a fireproof surface to snuff it out.

Storage:

Keep the bundle in a cool, dry place away from moisture to maintain their quality and fragrance. Store in an airtight container or pouch to preserve the wood’s natural oils and aroma.

Reuse:
